I Just Need to Vent

Well I must say that I was enlightened tonight while at dinner with my husband. Did you know that men have an excuse to be excused, "Because they are men"? Well I most certainly did not know. I was quickly told by my male chauvinistic husband.

Would you believe that I was told that because they are men Men are excused and allowed or expected to be nasty. Meaning that if they want to piss on the floor and leave it for you to step in, then guess what? They are allowed to do so. I do not believe that I am overeacting, but this is just wrong and ridiculous. Could he have not thought of a better excuse than that. Maybe he just wanted to push my buttons and piss me off. Well, mission accomplished.

It's the Weekend Baby

I love Fridays! I have no clue about what I would like to do this weekend, but I am sure glad that the weekend is here. I had a bit of a rough week. Tuesday night I got sick and it lasted on into Wednesday. I began to feel better Thursday ( I even went to yoga and Tai Chi), but I still do not have an appetite. Hopefully the weekend will lead to better things.

In Loving Memory of Coretta Scott King 1927-2006

What an inspiration this woman was to many, as well as myself. Mrs. King will be missed dearly. As our female Civil Rights pioneers pass on (Rosa Parks and Mrs. King), we must rise to the challege and continue their great works. Please do not let their hard work be in vain. We must continue on the journey for peace and equality for all.
